We feel that everything will have been done that needs to be done and that nothing will have been done done that did not need to be done. From previous experience at other garages we feel that BMW is honest in its assessment of what needs to be done.

My car had another recall which they carried out with a free check. They highlighted both front damper dust covers had split and quoted over £600 to replace. That is quite some hourly rate on an 8 year old car.

Bowkers git 4 stars because I was not offered the "long-standing customer" discount until after I said the original price quoted for the work was too high for me. I am a pensioner and being asked to pay something like £175 extra more than annoys me.

Service was good, however not happy I had to pay for insurance of £20 for courtesy car and only had car for 4 hrs. My friend who drives a BMW and took his car to Llyods BMW for service and he didn't have to pay insurance and had vehicle for 48 hrs

Waited too long for my vehicle and also engine light still showing after work completed. I drove back and was told it would cost me over £170 for diagnostic even though no engine light before. Received call next day to say come back to sort this out.

It took quite a long time to fit two new tyres, conduct a visual inspection and a quick wash/vac. Nothing wrong with the actual work carried out or the customer facing staff.

Amy, the service advisor was a star. She was friendly helpful and very personable. However, when I got to the car, the front seat had been left all the way forward, the back of it too, the tyre reset hadn't been done, & tyre pressures weren't done.

I trust Bowker Preston to look after all four BMW vehicles in my current ownership. Their reputation is enviably well earned and the fact that I'm prepared to make a 100 mile round trip to visit the dealership pays testimony to my confidence in them.
