The car was returned in perfect condition but took a little long at the end.
Was dealt with today by one of the experienced service advisers who's knowledge and organisation of the repairs etc made it a smooth experience

My car only went in for its first service. The experience was what I would expect from a premium car centre,and nothing else. Always happy with the experience at Bowker. This is the reason why I travel to them when I live in Cumbria.

There was a mix up with the appointment date , when the date was changed It was not updated on the system. after being told that I couldn't have the required date the team eventually sorted things out and the required date was achieved

The work was carried out within the time specified and to a very high standard.
I booked a fast lane service as there was no option for my car to be collected. The service took 2 hours and fifteen minutes meaning I was late for a work appointment.
All done to a high standard but screenwash was identified as an issue and wasn't topped up despite me being on a service plan. When I pointed this out, however I was offered to bring it back whenever I wanted to have it filled up for free.
I was a bit disappointed about the amount of work needed for an MOT and service with gearbox work and engine cover work needed on a low mileage car. Also I am unsure why my MOT was £54.85 when my husband had his MOT the week after and it was £39.99?

After three visits the rattles have just about been fixed. I booked a loan car an X1. I was considering the car for my wife. When I got to the dealership despite all the notes saying to have an x1 available they gave me a 3 series. I was not happy

The technician support was great! However seemed to be an annoyance rather than a customer, things were / seemed rushed. VHC app is a great idea, if explained by the service representative to expect it and actually complete the authorised work.

I've had 4 BMW's over a period of 12 years and have never experienced any issues with either the vehicle or the service. This time though when booking the car in and being told it would be ready by 4pm, I didn't drive away until nearly 6pm!
The matter is now resolved at a local level. I have been provided with a refund for additional work undertaken at M.O.T. and Major Service for which prior agreement to go ahead had not been made.

The MOT took longer than the 90 minutes promised, then the car wash broke and I was offered to wait another 30 minutes, but I had already been at BMW for two hours. The final problem was my drivers floor mat had been removed and needed collecting.

I have always had first class service from all departments at Bowker. My most recent service experience related to the EGR cooler re-call. This was dealt with brilliantly and the car was given a wash and vacuum too. Good back-up leads to future sales

Everything was fine and finished in the time stated.
Poor service. The car was booked in for a known fault and we were told it would make 1 day. Only when I rang at 17:00 was I told it would not be ready. It was very inconvenient not having a car and we ended up not having it for 3 days.

My latest experience is very disappointing. A week after being advised a spare part would be in 'tomorrow' and asking for contact details of the after sales manager to discuss an issue under guarantee, nothing has happened.

the service as in car work was good, the experience in the waiting aerea was poor. On arrival was called BUD, my name is not bud, was a bad start.

Long wait to collect the car. This must happen every day at peak times. Surely some staff management at these times would alleviate the problem.
One of the faults notified was not fixed and car will need to go back in, also another fault has now appeared since the work. Finally, for a service with other dealers you get a report on the car with tread depths etc., all I received was an invoice.

One telephone call to Bowker Preston to discuss problem with car hesitating at low revs. Car booked in, loan car arranged and car repaired in one day and also a full VHC report completed.

Old x5 had a fault for 2 years that could not be fixed, new x5 was faulty when collected. This is a product problem not the fault of the centre.
Plenty of stock to understand models and options. Well explained. Final finish on the car left a few streaks and micro scratches but team were quick to pro-actively address when spotted.
