I was able to book my car in straight away, everything was explained to me and I was very well look after whilst waiting for my car. Also car was valeted when ready for collection. Very happy.
The service itself was very good and all staff were outstanding. The matter of unreasonably having to pay for another bmw dash cam within exactly three years, and paying for fitting twice within just eighteen months understandably not very impressed.
Very helpful and friendly, would have been nice to have a curtesy car, but I left my service until right before Christmas

My only gripe is that when I've rung up with a problem with my connected drive and been told that someone will ring me back. Whoever is supposed to ring me never does
I was on a 'fast track' minor service; waited the indicated 1hr to 1.5hrs but ended with a 2.25hr wait.
When I got home I found my boot lid was rubbing metal on metal, which it was not when I brought it in.
Again, to be charged insurance for a fault on the car that was nothing to do with me and covered by warranty is an insult. It is small amount, but the principle ia disgusting.

There was a fairly intractible radio problem which was initially somewhat dismissed. A solution has been found which is acceptable but not perfect.

Have been dealing with Bowker BMW for 6 years
dropped my car off the night before, told it would be ready for 12, left it until 1.30 in the hope that it would be completed, it wasn't! I sat there until 3.30 waiting! Also I was told it included a wash & vac but made to feel I was being awkward.
Waited for 4 hours in draughty position in showroom when advised it would take approx 2 hours.I didnt get courtesy car to help save cost.
When I returned home after Warranty check I discovered my tyre pressues were reading low. They were fine before I presented my car. It meant that I had to return to Bowkers Preston the next day for them to rectify. Inconvenient.

I was quoted a price, then when it came to paying I was charged another higher price and an excuse was given. I complained and nothing was reported back to me.

A 90 minute oil change service took 2 and a half hours and nobody communicated the delay. When I handed the keys to the service desk I was told that they would aim to have it ready by 10am (after dropping it off at 8:30am) but nobody thought to say

Usually rate Bowkers as Completely Satisfied but was disappointed this time on pick-up: Having been told the car was ready I went to pick it up 1hr later and then it took a further 40 mins before the car was ready for me! Others were complaining too
Everything was first rate and I was told how long it would take. I checked online to find out what would be done as this was a 'big' service; the lady on the service phone line did not provide this information.
Problem with headlights, 1 is brighter than the other. Mentioned this on booking in the car, then again to the man who collected the car and again afterwards to the man who returned the car, who assured me he would sort it out. I've heard nothing!

I had to pay £15 for insurance to get my car repaired whilst in warranty. A warranty fail shouldn't incur me a cost. Also I was not advised this charge at booking in. It was only at collection that I 1st knew of charge.
The customer services rep went home without handing over where my car was up to. I had to ring several times to you only to be told my car was ready at 1700 by which time it was too late for collection. I had told you I needed by 15.00.
Didn't even add the service history onto the onboard computer.

Having to drop the car off and leave for the day no loan car or drop off service. The car was in with a fault that was covered by the warranty why should the owner have the expense and lose time at work

Very easy to deal with from start to finish, car collected and delivered by Carl who was very professional, polite and on time as arranged.
I was given a window of collection of 8am - 10am, the driver arrived at 10:45am and proceed to walk round my car on the drive with a clip board and became defensive/offended when questioned over the delay, which I felt was unnecessary.
Again this is not reflective of the service, I'm no longer trusting of bowker's as a supplier, and will most likely switch to another BMW provider. What I can say is that Katrina whom handled the service was A1.

I especially thought the virtual tour of my vehicle was a great way to be shown exactly what jobs needed or didn't need doing. The staff kept us updated at all times.

On my last visit which was for service, my tyres needed checking, as i have issues with one of them losing air (or the tyre pressure sensor thinks it is). I was told tyre pressure was reset. They hadn't as when collected, same as when dropped off.

On collecting my vehicle I was made to wait a long period of time with customers arriving after myself being attended to ahead of me. This was despite advising I wasn't able to wait around as I was due in a business meeting. I just needed to pay.
Service has always been good. Only reason why only 4/5 is that on one occasion the vehicle interior clean had made a streaky mess of both front & rear windscreen. As I left in direct sunlight it showed up particularly bad. Other than that very good.

Because I booked in weeks in advance and asked for a specific part to be fitted. I confirmed it all in great detail but the Girl in service had ordered me the wrong part. A rear sensor not a front sensor. So the damaged one had to be re fitted.

Service excellent however car registered in late September, spoke to you as out of country at time to see if ok to be a couple of weeks past date told no problem, looked on I drive service record and says 2 months late a little unhappy.
Recently had the M4 in for its first service and it was booked in for 09:00 which was fine as I was told it would take all day, I felt a little annoyed that according to my app it wasn't started till 14:30 and ended up me leaving it over night
Delays at reception kept to a minimum, work completed as required and car cleaned before return.
