No faults with the Bowker experience at all
Going in for third attempt to cure seat problems.
Lack of ownership throughout
Car was booked in for a general fluids top up and dropped off at approx. 10.15am and I was explicit that the car was required finished by 4.30pm. The car was not ready until 5.15pm which made me late for other appointments.
Took longer than originally suggested it would to complete the required work but the staff are always friendly and the waiting area is comfortable.

Having received a text message to say my vehicle was ready for collection, I was told half an hour after my arrival that my car was not ready due to a software problem. I had to wait 2hrs. I later found that all my telephone contacts were all erased.
Slow 'fast lane' service. Was told 90 mins / ended up being double that.

I have received a high level of customer service. However, my wife visited with the car on the last service and due to the misunderstanding of the BMW service package, she paid for the interim service. I realise this is a BMW UK issue.
Arrived for booked appointment - annual oil change - my request. Was expecting to wait for this service, but had been told on the telephone the car would have to be left (guarantee work). Asked at the time for an auto, offered a manual. Took car away
Having benefitted from bowkers excellent service and customer care for over 12 years I am always happy to rely on their high standards, support and advice when purchasing, servicing and,unfortunately, repairing my vehicles.
Normally I have been totally satisfied. The problem this time was at 1pm I received a call to say my car was nearly ready. I returned at 1.30. I then had to wait at least another hour + for my car!

It was just a service. Pretty expensive for what they did but nothing to complain about.
I had requested some replacement wipers to be fitted during the service when i booked it, but was told when i collected the car they were out of stock, no follow up offered

I booked my car into there for some work on the 4th of March to have the misfitted rear bumper corrected and my malfunctioning DAB fixed. In the event they fixed none of the issues. However, they did update the software and removed my Apple Carplay

MoT carried out quickly (I was able to wait) at a very good price ( I had a voucher from an earlier service visit).
There were no problems, and everything went well, without hassle.

Inspection carried out very well for work to be carried out at a later date, had a noise coming from brakes but was told the technician couldn't find a fault. As soon as i tested the car when driving off the fault is still present.
Very quick and no hassle and also cleaned the car.
Seemed a long time waiting. Staff very pleasant though.

Not given a high score as felt the tyre insurance wasn't explained fully especially importance with run flat tyres. Had x3 punctures on run flat tyres under 2years!!

Car was not ready on time and I had to phone to be told this .Then was given a courtesy car with zero fuel and sweet wrappers in .I am not complaining about this but not the standard you promote.

I asked for an investment Hariono for the rumbling noise but got no specific reason for this apart from worn tyres as noticed during the service, so not sure if there was any investigation carried out.
I have been very frustrated with the service at Bowker Preston of late and have already raised some of these issues before. On my last visit, the service I received by the staff reiterated my previous thoughts that I am a number not a valued customer
I was impressed with the efficient service and the taxi ride there and back from Preston so I could do some shopping therapy whilst I was waiting for my service!

Discount was given on the investigation hours however my car was in for 5 days when I had a 2 week old baby and no access to an alternative vehicle was provided. little to no communication until the Tues/Weds after taking car in on Friday prior.
Efficient service, kept up to date with progress of work
Dropped the car off @ 8.00 & said i would be back @ approx. 4.30. Arrived @ 4.45 to pick-up my car, was asked to wait, then @ 5.00 was told it was off to be cleaned. Then @ 5.15 was told the oil filter housing had failed & to come back next day.

Service was great - Michelle is brilliant. You are very expensive thought so will probably look at another garage for anything else I need another than servicing.
Job was done satisfactorily and the driver (collection/delivery) was polite. When I refused to take the car back the following day to have the dash cam reconnected he came out and did it for me. I was unable to drive following abdominal surgery.
I booked my car in for a service at 12.30pm and they looked after me really well, I was driving away at 2pm. The last garage I used it took a full day.
We were offered a 90 minute while you wait service which given we are not local suits us. From the reception to the service team we were dealt with courteously and made to feel welcome. All work done was explained before leaving.
Great service from the lady on the desk - I was becoming frustrated as I'd waited about 40 mins for the car to be washed. She did what she could to help.

Terrible, find customer advisors frosty. Raised complaints higher and get told that it will be all fixed, etc but never does. Always waiting around despite loads of staff milling around. Can't get through on phones easily.

My appointment was kindly made to fit me in the day after I called, which i needed as later in the week, my car had 2 long journeys. It was a 90min FastLane appt. It took 5 hrs. I was made aware when booking in it may be longer than 1.5hrs.
Again always had the best experience.
Overall staff were excellent. Little disappointed that as tyre not in stock was told would have a phone call to my local BMW dealer to get the tyre on stock. As I was away on business in Preston. Not heard from BMW since so went Kwik Fit for my tyre
my car was not serviced, I took it to my local garage which was cheaper.
As I say, well looked after hardly waited when I dropped off the car and collected
they were thorough and explained possible future tyre problem which they kindly solved

Had to wait around for return of car, despite phone call to say it was ready. Reason for service - fault of BMW computer system. Would have expected car to be washed as inconvenience to bring my car in as not my fault a computer error. Disappointing.

Took over a week to get an appointment that took 30 minutes. Washers wasn't topped up Ad blue needed topped up but no mention of that.

From my initial casual visit to view models I was interested in, to finalising the purchase, I always found the staff to be friendly & helpful. The handover process was smooth and efficient and we felt that our business really mattered.

The team took time to understand our requirements and made a number of different proposals to meet them. They also gave us time to review those proposals without undue pressure.
All the dealership staff including alison prowce are a credit to the brand although not my local dealership I wouldn't go anywhere else
