The service side of the business in very good at delivering what is required, however it is expensive. They seem to have a lot of admin staff you have to go through a reception desk before you can talk to someone on the service desk.

I took my vehicle in because of a problem that turned out to be outside the warranty. You agreed to help resolve the problem as a gesture of good will which I cannot fault.
First class efficient hassle free
Again, everything was excellent. I liked the video that the technician sent via text about the tyres, exhaust etc. The car was cleaned to a high standard and I was informed how long everything would take.
There is generally a wait time of at least 10 minutes when dropping off/picking up the car - even at 7.30 in the morning!My car was scratched by BMW staff during the last visit and so I'm now having to bring my car back for the 3rd time.
I hadvisitx3. no space to give in full 1st issue parking sensors which then need order a part, tyre monitor issue not found again, recall issue not told about 2nd was sensors part fix and service which did find tyre monitor fault 3rd fit monitor part
Service was carried out as promised. I appreciated the video tour of the car.
Eventually work completed but took longer than expected.

There could have been an issue with the length of time I needed my courtesy car but I was sorted for me with no trouble. Bowkers rang me to say they could do my service that was due at the same time as the repair. That saved me another trip.

Had to have three visits, second time wrong part arrived. Third time should have just taken 10 minute to plug part in - but made to wait two hours. Complained when received telephone survey and told I would receive call back, never had any call.
Car boot was and no rear lights, turned up with no appointment and it was diagnosed within 2 hours. Although a part had to be ordered.
One issue with car phone cannot be resolved apparently due to software issue, car interior was cleaned but some bits missed which then looked odd e.g. Half of dashboard / display
I very much appreciate the personal level of service received. There were a couple of minor issues on the day, but the attitude in resolving these was very good.

Day after leaving from waiting for 3.5 hours whilst service being done., the next morning the Ad Blue warning came in with only 1000 miles. Had to go to Halfords and get sorted. Should have been done
Straight forward service, with great communication and even managed to bring my car to me when my arrangements to collect the car changed unexpectantly.
I asked for a specific time for the car to be serviced, to fit in with my schedule for the day, and collected the completed car exactly on time and fully prepared.

minor jobs completed quickly
Car serviced quickly, availability of a good wifi connection enabled me to work whilst waiting for the car.
I have no complaints regarding Bowkers and their staff who seem very efficient and friendly. On this occasion I needed a hire car whilst mine was waiting for a part. I did not like the arrangement with enterprise car hire.

When I handed over the keys I mentioned I had been having problems with an intermittent oil warning display. Action on this was not fed back to me, also I now know that the mechanic reported a low level of oil but this also was not reported back.
Everything went to plan... with very polite and courteous staff handling the 'admin'. One improvement on the 'video' offered during work on the car.... could this be offered as something that could be 'saved' by the owner of the car?
I would have been completely satisfied, but BMW would not allow Bowkers to carry out a brake fluid change, due 10 days later and means I have to revisit to have the work carried out.Pathetic of BMW!

Friendly & efficient service
Upon returning my car from Service the driver damaged my back NS wheel. An accident which immediately he arranged to repair. My car was brought back from repair. A very poor sub standard repair which had to be rectified again.
Had excellent service from all the staff at Bowkers Preston, especially Eoghan on the Service desk. the many problems with my 3 series were diagnosed quickly, the nature of the faults were fully explained as was the work required to remedy them.

Concerns over high fuel consumption, required upgrade on engine control unit performed at same time. Time will prove effectiveness ref fuel consumption.
I had performance exhaust fitted at the same time as first service on my M2. The stereo would not play the music from my phone. It was to be sorted at the same time. When I collected the music would still not play, the valves didn't work on exhaust.

Service from Tom Aitkehead was brilliant. he explained everything really well, he also knows his cars and was very knowledgeable. on the day I went to pick my car up Tom met me at the train station and once again could not have been more helpful.
As I said previously, exceptional customer service with a smooth change from my old to my new vehicle.

The service at Bowker in Preston was absolutely outstanding. They kept me up to date with the where my new car was up to and were very helpful in taking in my previous car (MOT was due to run out) and giving me an automatic X1 until new car arrived
